Wix (██)

Wix is a service for creating simple container sites to showcase your
work. Wix offers a range of (somewhat) customizable templates, and
drag-and-drop editing tools for easy use. Templates are designed for
showcasing print and visual content, and displaying a social feed (i.e.
a live Twitter feed).

Metrics

For metrics, you’ll have to install an outside app, like Web-stat.
Web-stat offers a range of common metrics:

  1. Referrer: data about how--search, social media, direct links--users are finding your work
  2. Visits: number of times visitors came to your site
  3. Click-path: how visitors navigate within your site. (Where do they enter? Where do they leave?)
  4. Geo-location
  5. Equipment used: mobile, desktop, etc.

For more info on metrics, see Web Metrics Guide: Basics for
Journalists
. This is a guide to Google Analytics, but Wix metrics are very similar.
