directly to the content-distribution channels (described in the next
section), a website can still serve as a valuable anchor point for
setting the tone of a project, as well as providing a place to aggregate
and archive original content and other related material.

The tools listed as "Recommended" for this section are those that are best
for showcasing group or class projects, in part because they offer
customization as well as good (and sometimes mandatory) integration with
social networks. The "Additional" tools here are better suited for
individual portfolios.
