Pinterest

Pinterest (█)

Pinterest is a social platform for creating and sharing curated collections of
images. Collections (called “boards”) can contain your own images
(“pins”) as well as re-pins from other users.

Pros Cons
Good for archiving. Only registered Pinterest users can view your boards.
Good for resurfacing old stories and connecting with new audiences.

Audience

Pinterest users tend to be female, and design-oriented. Most users view
Pinterest on a tablet. Users tend to be older than those on other social
platforms. 33% of 18-29-year-olds, 28% of 30-49 year-olds, and 27% of
50-64-year-olds use Pinterest.

Privacy

Under Pinterest's Account Settings, you can ensure that your profile is hidden from search engines (by default, people can find your profile on search engines). Additionally, you can also limit tracking behaviour by opting out of the personalisation settings ("Use sites you visit to improve which recommendations and ads you see" and "Use information from our parters to improve which recommendations and ads you see."

Security

Supports Two-Factor Authentication: Yes

Under Settings Security, there is an option to "Require code at login". At the moment, however, the second-factor only works over texts.
